We all know that interest rates are low – great for a mortgage but pretty crappy if you want to save money. For those of those that still like to hammer our credit cards on a monthly basis, there’s good news. BarclayCard have fired off a shot in the credit card wars!

Peering through the papers today I found this announcement tucked away at the back of one of the local rags: 20 months of 0% interest when you switch from one card supplier to BarclayCard. Now that is exceptional.

Pretty much all of the lenders are trying to get their hands on our cash with various incentives but this one beats the nearest best offer into the dust! It was only yesterday that MBNA and Virgin Money announced the launch of an 18 month 0%.

There’s not much more to say on this. I’ve managed to stay away from credit cards for a long time but this one is soooo tempting!
