We all know that interest rates are low – great for a mortgage but pretty crappy if you want to save money. For those of those that still like to hammer our credit cards on a monthly basis, there’s good news. BarclayCard have fired off a shot in the credit card wars!
Peering through the papers today I found this announcement tucked away at the back of one of the local rags: 20 months of 0% interest when you switch from one card supplier to BarclayCard. Now that is exceptional.
Pretty much all of the lenders are trying to get their hands on our cash with various incentives but this one beats the nearest best offer into the dust! It was only yesterday that MBNA and Virgin Money announced the launch of an 18 month 0%.
There’s not much more to say on this. I’ve managed to stay away from credit cards for a long time but this one is soooo tempting!
Comet’s discount codes are probably the most actively searched vouchers after Currys. New gadgets, LCD TV’s, appliances, etc there’s alway a deal to found at Comet.
This week (1st week of March 2011) we’ve got a couple of great discount codes that, if you think outside of the box, will put a smile on your face.
First up, there’s a voucher that will save you 7.5% off all purchases over £600. Just right if you’re looking for a new LCD TV. Then again, if you’re an Apple fan and you’re looking to buy something like a MacBook then this voucher code is just what you need to knock a decent chunk off the price. Here’s the code: 7600 Expires 9th March 2011.
Are you looking for a new range cooker? In that case, spend over £900 at Comet and they’ll give you 6% off with the following: RNG6. Expires 10th March 2011.
Last code of the day will save you 5% off a spend over £300. It might seem like quite a lot but even a moderate spec TV will set you back a few hundred quids nowadays. Anyway, here’s the code (hope it helps): 5300. Expires 9th March 2011.
Dixons have just announced a new selection of discount codes and deals for all you purveyors of electrical goodies!
The first deal today is a handy little discount code that will save you £22.74 off the Panasonic Viera TXL32S20B 32? Full HD LCD TV. The RRP on this flat screen TV is £379 but with this voucher it’s all yours for only £356.26 – not bad for a 1080p LCD. I’m going to dig into the full specs; if you want it, here’s the code you need to apply at the checkout: EXTRA6. One more thing – if you don’t have time to pick it up, Dixons will deliver it to your house free of charge. High street shopping the lazy way!
